We didn't waste anytime getting our vacation started. Our first day we headed out to my Aunt and Uncles house for a family party so we could see everyone. It's always a treat to spend the day out there.
And sadly I wasn't in picture mode yet so this is the best I got.
We then had a big all day beach day in Del Mar, and invited all of our friends that we were hoping to see to come spend the day with us. It was a blast, and we wore our poor kiddos out! This was Landon's first time to the beach and the sand. I still hadn't gone picture crazy yet. We had lots of friends there with us, and this is all I managed to get. Don't worry, as the trip went on the camera never went away!

We had a few down days every now and then but not much! Avery really wanted to go see the seals. The first few days we were there, we would tell her we were going somewhere (like, we are going swimming now), and she would immediately respond with "and then go see seals?". All day for the first three days! It cracked us up, and we knew we had to take our cute two year old to see the seals. Luckily there were a ton in La Jolla that day so she got to see plenty!

This one turned out too sweet of my big girls. See, they still love each other. They just need to be reminded every now and then.
After La Jolla, we headed over to spend the rest of day with the Thomas's. They have a beautiful new home and pool, and it was so great to hang out with them for the day. We really are thankful for their friendship, and since Jeff and Jason are both real estate investors they could talk for hours and hours and I assure you they did! Unfortunately the camera didn't come out much that afternoon. Boo!
