One Month Old

I can't believe it's already been one month since our beautiful girl arrived. Although we are actually getting close to two months now, so I thought I better hurry and post her one month. Lynlee is just as sweet as can be, and such a great baby. Really, she is! She has her moments of fussyness, where she just wants to be held, which usually happen when I'm cooking dinner. But for the most part she is just a happy girl.
So far at one month, she is sleeping about 5 hours at night, although last night she made it 6 hours. Yippee! She is holding her head up quite a bit now and has really been more and more alert. She is definitely going to be a brown eyed girl like big sister Avery and Daddy. She has been working on her smiles and I feel like we are right on the brink for some good baby smiles. She loves to be held, talked to and sung to and luckily all her big sisters help me out with that. We love this sweet girl of ours and I'm just so thankful she's mine. She has been the perfect addition to our family.

And now for picture over load of our cute Lynlee!

This was in the middle of school time. Nursing and teaching at the same time are pretty normal now. Aubery is always kissing on her baby sister.
This particular morning, Landon was just staring at her and trying to give her high fives and fist bumps. It was pretty funny! Love my babies.

Things have been going pretty good over here. I feel like this adjustment has been easier than going to four for whatever reason. Maybe because the big girls are older now? Or maybe I'm just to used to chaos now?! The hardest part is just trying to juggle everything, especially things like housework, laundry, grocery shopping, getting all of our school work completed and then anything just for me time is basically non existent for the time being. Not to mention the fact that I'm pretty exhausted and seriously zero time to rest. But it's all worth it of course, and I would choose chaos over and over again because God has blessed me immensely, first with a man who loves me tremendously and then with these 5 sweet kiddos! How could they not put a smile on my face.

Lynlee's Newborn Pictures

One week after Lynlee was born, my sweet friend Crystal, came over to take some pictures of our sweet baby girl. She was very cooperative, and even all the siblings did great. It's always exhausting to get family pictures done, but so worth the effort.  I've been meaning to post these for weeks now, but trying to find time to blog has been extremely difficult these days.

And then some family ones.

Our Visit with my Parents

Having my mom come stay with me after I have a baby is always a time I look forward to. But this time we had an added bonus and that was that my Dad came along too. My parents were a huge help to me. They provided meals, did laundry, changed diapers, cleaned my kitchen over and over, did crafts, tooks kids to play outside, and the list goes on and on and on. There were quite a few tears shed when they had to go home! I'm so thankful for our visit and for the tremendous amount of help!

Lots of reading, playing games and making crafts with Nana.

There was, of course, lots of cuddling with the newest grandbaby. Nana and Papaw fell head over heals for sweet Lynlee.

Landon and Papaw were buddies during their visit. He had my parents cracking up the whole time. This boy is just full of personality! Now you can see who Landon looks like, just like my Dad!
Here is Landon doing his "tough guy". It's hysterical!

Avery loved her time with Nana on this trip. Cute girl!

My parents with five of their grandkids!
I love you Mom and Dad, and I am so so thankful for your 10 days here. Now I just need you to come back!

Our First Weeks at Home

We have been home for 3 weeks now, which is so hard to believe and so far it's gone really well. My parents came for 10 days and Jeff was home for a week and a half. Because of the c-section complications I'm not able to drive for 6 weeks or pick anything up (including Landon), so luckily Jeff has been able to work from home to help me out when I need it. Although I'm technically on my own it doesn't really feel like it quite yet. However, school starts back up next week so we shall see how I will juggle it all. One day at a time, thats what I keep telling myself.

Lynlee has been a sweet sweet baby, and the first few days she was home the question of the day from all the girls was "can I hold her?".

Landon is a bit unsure. He likes to kiss and asks to kiss her goodnight everyday, but holding her... not so much.

 Love these!

Mommy and Daddy trying to squeeze some time in too.

I often find children like this, just wanting to look at her.

Her first bath at home.

Just some sweet pictures of our cutie. Love this little girl!

Loving this time with a newborn one more time. Although I'm pretty exhausted, over whelmed, my house and laundry are getting out of control, not to mention a countless amount of other things I just can't get to, it's all worth it. Just when we thought we were done, God had a much bigger plan and He gave us this precious precious gift. Thank you God for our sweet Lynlee Noelle.
