17 Months

This sweet boy of mine is quickly approaching that 1 1/2 year mark which is so hard to believe. He is getting so big and so full of just a sweet personality. He makes the cutest facial expressions and those keep our whole family laughing. He is still a pretty laid back guy. He likes the girls to leave him a lone for the most part, except Avery because she actually plays with him instead of trying to hug him and pick him up. Every now and then, completely on his own terms, he will decide to give all sisters hugs and kisses. Aubrey just loves it when he does. Her favorite thing to say to him is "Landon, you are just too cute. You make me want to hug you too much!". She says it all the time. That girl is like her daddy, huggy huggy huggy!

He has lately become an even louder yeller! If he isn't getting his way, or someone is standing or sitting where he wants to stand, or he wants another cracker, etc. he yells... and he yells loud! It's really starting to drive me a little crazy so we are working on him and teaching him other ways to communicate. Little stinker!

Although he is 17 months, would you believe he is STILL not walking. Come on buddy. It's time! He stands by himself often and is very proud of himself. He can push things around really well, and he has taken a few little steps here and there, but goodness I'm ready for him to take off. He is getting really heavy to carry everywhere! He loves playing at the park and going down the slide. We have been meeting our home school group at the park on Tuesdays and this park has been perfect for him to climb around on.

Another one of his favorite things is to be outside riding in his car. We found a perfect way for him to ride, plus Aubrey loves to have any part in making Landon smile!

I was having fun with the camera and he was into posing! Love this little red head!

The boy still loves the stairs. He can at least go up and down them on his own now, although the down part still scares me. He is fast!
I love this boy of mine. He is just sweet, and cuddly and I could kiss those cheeks all day. He is a blessing indeed and I can hardly wait to see next month, if he will be getting a little brother or sister!
