Pumpkin Patch

Well we finally made it to the pumpkin patch. Better late than never right! I had intended to go before Landon got here but we ran out of time so we made a quick trip to a little pumpkin patch at a church here in Kingwood. Landon slept right through it and the girls ran around, had a blast and picked out a few pumpkins. It was a really fun family day, our first actually as a family of six. We even managed to go out for lunch at a sit down restaraunt, another first!

Nobody Can Seem to get Enough

Enough of Landon that is! His sisters are always wanting to hold him, mommy has a really hard time putting him down and Daddy loves having a little buddy around. He sure is a sweet boy and has been the perfect addition to our family. I can't believe I'm now a boy mom but I wouldn't have it any other way! Here is Landon at 2 weeks old.

All of his sisters love to kiss on him and hold him. It's so cute watching them with him.
Here he is getting his first bath soon after we got home from the hospital.

Mom's Make Everything Better

And my mom for sure did! Of course having baby #4 has been a bit overwhelming, on top of my 4th c-section and my crazy run of emotions so having my mom come and spend a week with me and help me ease into life with four was nothing short of a life saver. We all enjoyed her visit so much and all of her help was more than appreciated. She cleaned, she prepared meals, she did laundry, she played and read and made tents with the girls, she even took Aubrey to dance class, and she was just there to talk with and to listen. Saying goodbye was rough, but we are hopeful she will be back soon, next time with Papaw. I love you Mom and thank you thank you thank you for all you did! Getting sweet cuddles with her grandson.

She joined us for pumpkin craft time.
I wished we had taken more pictures but we did get a few good ones.

The Next Few Days

Friday evening Landon was released from the NICU and was able to come to our room. I was one ecstatic mommy to bring my boy with me. And what made it even better was Alicia and the girls were all in our room waiting on us when we got there with Landon. Perfect timing! Daddy and Landon cuddling the last few hours in the NICU

A picture of our family of 6!
I had so much fun getting to show Landon to each girl. They all loved him. Avery was so cute with him. She just kept touching his face and giggling.
Alicia came and stayed with the girls for three days while we were in the hospital. We are so blessed by her and her willingness to come stay with our girls right after returning from celebrating her first anniversary with her hubby. They had so much fun with her!
Daddy with all four of his kiddos! Four kids, still seems crazy to me!
Here are just some pictures of us during our hospital stay.
Heading home with our little boy!
Now we are home and settling into life with four. So far I just get to rest and cuddle with Landon while Jeff is taking care of the girls. But life will get more interesting before I know it and Jeff heads back to work. Here are some from this week at home.
