Happy Thanksgiving

We really enjoyed our Thanksgiving this year. For the first time it was just our family. What made the day even more special was the fact that we also got to celebrate our 9th anniversary. It was just a nice relaxing day at home with my family which is exactly what I had hoped for.
We started the morning out with the Macy's parade (which the girls LOVED) and some Candylane and Shoots and Ladders playing. Avery wanted nothing to do with the game playing except to take all of our cards and run away with them. Oh that girl!

Jeff and I decided since it was just us, and the fact that we don't really love turkey all that much, and it was our anniversary that we would change it up a bit and have prime rib for dinner. Yum! It got a little over cooked (it was Jeff's first attempt) but it was still very good. A few days later he cooked the other half and that one was delish! Here we are enjoying Thanksgiving dinner and talking about all the things that we are thankful for.

After dinner we decided to all sit down and watch our wedding video. The big girls were mesmerized the whole time. They loved it. In fact the next morning Adalyn said "Mommy, can we watch that movie about when you got married to Daddy". That girl is too cute. Here are all four of my cuties just as we wrapped up the day. This picture of Aubrey signing "I love you" cracks me up. She is always signing this to us. During her dance class, throughout the whole class, every few minutes she'll turn around and sign this to me even though she can't see me through the glass. It makes me smile every time.

Aubrey took one of Jeff and I. She did pretty good. Happy anniversary to us!

And here are some of my cute boy on his first Thanksgiving.

I have so much to be thankful for. God has blessed me abundantly!
