It's recital time! The girls worked so very hard all year in their dance. They both have come such a long way and Jeff and I are so proud of them. They both are still shy, it's just part of their personalities, but they have definitely learned to overcome some fears, and it helped both of them come out of their shells quite a bit. This past Saturday was their recital and they did such a great job. They were so precious out there and Jeff and I were just beaming. We were a little nervous for Adalyn and very curious as to whether she was actually going to go out and do her dance or not. Not only did she go out of stage but she did her cute little dance just perfectly. Aubrey did great too. She doesn't seem to have any stage fright whatsoever and just went out and did her dance just like she did every week in class. Here are our cute girls at their recital. Here they are, waiting to go on stage.
Aubrey's class went first. Then it was Adalyn's turn. Their "so sweet" Daddy (as Adalyn likes to call him) gave them some beautiful red roses for doing such a great job. Can you tell he is one proud Daddy? Showing off some dance moves. The Wilson's came which was so sweet! Then on Sunday the girls had their last choir performance for the year. They love choir and they always look forward to Wednesday nights. Again, we were wondering how Adalyn was going to do, but she once again did perfectly. Sadly we could hardly see Aubrey because she was hidden behind another girl, but she seemed to be enjoying herself. They were both sad to learn choir was over the summer, but we are already looking forward to another year next year!Wednesday, May 9, 2012
