We had a blast this year at the "Pumpkin Patch". I say it like that because apparently because of the drought there were no pumpkins. There were itty bitty ones to take home and then there was a tiny little patch in a garden that had some stacked up to take pictures with. Not what we expected but we still had a blast.
We went to a place called The Oil Ranch and it was such a great ranch, perfect for family fun. They had tons to do and the girls really had so much fun. We rode the train, jumped in the jumping castles, played on a few playgrounds, rode the ponies, looked at all the scarecrows and even learned a little bit about all the farm animals. It proved to be a fabulous family day which are always my favorite!
Time for a train ride!

Cute sisters!

Riding pony swings.

And then riding actual ponies. This came as a complete shock to Jeff and I. You see our girls are seriously terrified of most animals for some crazy reason. Adalyn actually decided she wanted to ride one and then Aubrey followed along. Even though Adalyn doesn't seem to be enjoying herself based on this picture, she was a pretty happy girl!

They had so many scarecrow's all around the ranch which the girls were so excited about. It worked out perfectly since, as you see here, we just finished up a scarecrow theme at school this week!

Learning all about where milk comes from.

Pumpkin pictures. I was so sad because Avery fell asleep right before we took them, so she's not in them. We may have to take another trip to an actual pumpkin patch just for the sake of a sister picture. Is that crazy of me?

After wards, since we were close to our old stomping ground, we met up with the Wilson's for dinner. The girls always have a blast together!
