Sunday was a perfect day to head to the beach. Lance was visiting, so that's always on the list when we have company in town. You never know how it's going to be in May or June here, it's usually pretty overcast which makes it a little cooler. But the day couldn't have been more perfect. To make it even better we found a parking spot right up front, which is seriously unheard of during beach season, let alone on memorial day weekend! Oh San Diego beaches, I really do love you!
Ready to play with her sandtoys. She has been asking for weeks to go the beach so she can play with her sandtoys.
Of course beach days mean my children COVERED in sand!
Daddy burying Aubrey's legs and making her a mermaid, just like Ariel!
Building sandcastles together!
My cute little California Girl!
I still can't believe she did this! Jeff was just holding her because she was cold after getting wet on a walk with mommy, and then she fell asleep!
We had so much fun with Lance! Aubrey didn't want much to do with Lance, but the day after he left during lunch, she asked if she could say the prayer. This is what she said, "Thank you for Daddy and Lance. He so sweet". Haha!
Before we headed for home, both girls really wanted to play at the park first.
So what's in store for next weekend? I think another beach day!

So cute! Love the beach pics. Quick question for you. How do you get the sand out of your girl's swim suits? I've washed Camryn's several times and it's still stuck between the layers of fabric. :)
