The Month of May

May hasn't been too busy of a month but we have been up to a few fun things. So here's a quick catch up, a quick glimpse into our month.

This cute boy of ours got his first official buzz cut. Jeff buzzed it himself and I think he looks rather handsome. A little too grown up of course, but super handsome nonetheless.

School time has been moving right along. We have done lots of fun projects lately, but the camera hasn't come out for most of those. We enjoyed getting our caterpillars a few weeks ago, watching them make their chyrsallis's, then letting them go after they became butterflies. This is always so fun for us and the girls love it!
We have been doing nature walks and writing all sorts of things in our nature books. A few weeks ago we learned all about rocks and jewels and had some fun hunting for interesting rocks, and making necklaces out of lots of pretty jewels. As we were learning about jewels we decorated these pots  and planted some flower seeds.

The plants have started to grow now, but no pictures yet.

I had a very happy Mothers Day with my crew. We enjoyed church that morning, a delicious steak lunch grilled by my wonderful husband, and some fun at the park that afternoon. Tomorrow I am going to a spa nearby to use my gift card for a Caribbean Foot Facial. I'm very very excited about that.
We enjoyed a visit a few weeks ago from Nan and Bop. Oh the girls love when they come to visit. They love to play with Nan and she just lets them take her wherever they want to go. You can usually find them all up in their room playing something fun. This time she brought them a bunch of her old jewelry for dress up and they are still wearing a few pieces every day. They loved that!

Bop and Landon.
While they were here visiting, Aubrey and Adalyn had their choir performance. They did such a great job and Jeff and I were just beaming with pride.
Here is Adalyn's class. They were all so cute up there. Adalyn tried her hardest to not look over in our direction during the performance. Funny girl!

And then it was Aubrey's turn. Her group put on a great musical and we were so proud of Aubrey for all of her hard work. She was too precious up there!

Our little performers after the show.
Afterwards we headed to none other than Pei Wei for dinner and then ice cream for dessert. They were pretty excited about our fun night!

And now it's already time to move into June. How is that possible?!? In just another short 3 months our family will grow once again. Wow!
