A few days before Easter weekend, Jeff and I decided our family could really use a small getaway. To relax, spend time together and just literally get away from lots of stress and distraction. So we headed up to Lake Conroe and stayed at La Toretta Resort. It ended up being our very best time away as a family. The most laid back and relaxing time away! We got there Thursday and by Friday morning we already started talking about staying one extra night which would require us to miss church on Easter morning. Finally by Saturday afternoon (after our room was packed up) I agreed to stay. Best decision! So we spent pretty much all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday poolside. The kids were wiped out but loved every minute of it. The resort rooms were all suites which made it even better, and we had a fridge and microwave in our room so we ate pretty much every meal in our room. I'm ready to go back. Here is a glimpse at our fun getaway!
Friday morning we began with a round of miniature golf. Best part was that I won!!

And after that we didn't leave the pool much, so here are a billion pictures of us swimming!
They also had a great waterpark at the resort, slides and a splash pad for the kids.
And then back to the pool!
