A couple of weeks ago Jeff went on a ski trip with some guy friends, and then the following weekend he attended a two day real estate class. So needless to say we had to fill in all that time with at least a little bit of fun. It's hard, of course, when Jeff is gone because the weekends disappear and it was like three long weeks of the same thing. I needed our time to be fun and not just the same ol same ol. So here are few things we did while Jeff was gone!
My friend Jaime's husband went with Jeff on the ski trip so one night her and her four kiddos came and we had a little slumber party. Eight kids is a lot! But we all had fun and I only managed one picture. Her little girl Raylee, loves Avery so on Saturday morning she took her upstairs and dressed her up like this! They were so cute!
They wanted me to braid their hair and wear it like that all day and see what it would like that night. Here is post braids. Avery's didn't really turn out since she didn't have as much hair, plus she wasn't being cooperative.
On this same day, little mister started rolling over. And all of us girls were very entertained by this!
On Monday we decided to just have a fun girl day (and Landon came a long too) and we went to mall. They played in the playground, road the carousel and picked out one small toy at the Disney Store with some of their piggy bank money. It was just a fun day and that is just what we needed. Unfortunately I got zero pictures!
The following weekend Jeff's brother and his family came down. His brother was teaching the real estate class that Jeff went too so we just got to hang out with my sis in law and my nieces all weekend. It was so much fun and my girls literally cried and cried when they had to say goodbye on Monday. Avery is still saying "airs Riye" (where's Riley?"). Here are some pics from our fun time with them.
Melissa was so sweet and had a fun craft planned for all the girls.
The played some dress up. Reegan didn't want to be in the picture but I assure you she was cute!
Water beads was a big part of the weekend but this was the only picture taken. She wore this all day :)
They made had lots of fun at the park and played outside the majority of the day.
On this particular morning the girls kept fighting and we hadn't even been up an hour yet. I told them if they fought anymore they would be up in their rooms. This was their solution. Pillows stacked between them so they couldn't bother each other while they watched a show. Pretty clever!
We missed Daddy so much and are now looking forward to a much needed family day!
