Preparing for Easter

The few days before Easter we did a few fun things and stayed pretty busy as we got ready for Easter.

Between my first trimester and having a horrendous sinus infection my creativity and our crafting was lacking. But I managed to pull myself together on Friday and we did these two activities.

Counting bunny candies and making patterns. They thought this was pretty special!

On Saturday our church had a picnic and Easter egg hunt. It was so fun and the girls just had a blast. They jumped to their hearts contents in the jumping castles, they ate sugary cupcakes, and Avery chased balls all over the grass! Unfortunately I got absolutely zero pictures of the egg hunt, but it was a very fun afternoon.

Eating cupcakes with their sweet little friend Randi Kay.

That night we had some of our wonderful friends over for dinner. They are friends that we made in San Diego that moved to College Station shortly after we moved here. It's so nice to see them every now and again and to reminisce with them about the good ol' days!We let the kids dye Easter eggs, but we came to the consensus that Jeff was much more entertained with this then the kids. He was making all sorts of striped eggs after the kids had long abandoned the fun!
