A Weekend with the Fam!

We made our way to Arlington this past weekend to see Jeff's family. And what was meant to be a four hour drive turned into a 5 1/2 hourd drive. It actually went very well. We repurchased a dvd set for the van (our other one was stolen a year ago), so the girls (mostly Aubrey) thought it was pretty incredible to watch tv in the car. We even surprised them with the movie "Tangled"! Jeff's mom and dad also came to town so they were finally able to get their hands on Avery. It was definitely a sweet moment! We had a blast celebrating Kylie's birthday, watching all the cousins play, spending time as a family and of course enjoying a glass of wine once all the kiddos were in bed. Thanks Steve and Melissa for hosting our clan! It is so nice to be within driving distance once again. Now if only I could get my family in driving distance too...
